School Budget Vote/Board Elections

7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. — Westlake High School Gymnasium
VOTING ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
• U.S. Citizenship
• Eighteen years of age or older
• District residency at least 30 days before voting, and registered to vote
In order to cast a vote, you must be registered with the school district OR with the Westchester County Board of Elections and have voted at least once in the past four years (2016, 2015, 2014, 2013).
If you are registered to vote in Westchester County, but have since become a resident of the Mount Pleasant Central School District, you must be registered with the county at your Mount Pleasant address.
YOU MAY REGISTER AT
• The District Office, 825 West Lake Drive, Thornwood, during normal business hours through Thursday, May 11, 2017. The last day to register to vote for the annual school district election is Thursday, May 11, 2017.
• Special Voter Registration Evening: Wednesday, May 10, 2017, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Westlake High School lobby.
Anyone that is registered to vote and will not be in Westchester County on the date of the annual school district election may be eligible to apply for an absentee ballot. To receive an absentee ballot, an application must first be completed. An application can be requested from the District Clerk or downloaded here.

The absentee ballot application must be completed and returned to the District Clerk either in person or by U.S. mail prior to receiving the actual absentee ballot.
Important Absentee Ballot Dates
By Mail: An absentee ballot application must be received by the District Clerk no later than seven days prior to the election, Tuesday, May 9, 2017, to allow time to mail the ballot.
In Person: An absentee ballot application can be picked up in person by the voter through May 15, 2017
The District Clerk must receive the completed absentee ballot by 5:00 pm on May 16, 2017.
